"Welcome Beautiful Ones"
DGWOS is not a page where we bash, hate, use foul language, or tear down one's character through jealousy and envy. It is a page designed to inspire, to celebrate, to encourage and to promote self-love. This page wants to catapult you into a stronger and better you mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. Throughout the month, seasoned "Women of Substance" will share their experiences and thoughts to remind you that you are the diamond that God has intended for you to be. Please note: we are not psychiatrists or psychologists, nor do we profess to be perfect; but what we are, are women, mothers and grandmothers, who have been through the trials and errors of life and now want to help guide you through the same, if you choose to accept our views as you travel on this same wonderful journey called life. As a follower we only have two requests: 1) you share this blog with others and 2) strive every day to be the best you, you can be.
Ladies, let this blog be the reflection of what true, exquisite diamonds look like.
Peace and Love....

"Not the Prototype"
Happy "Self-Love" Tuesday - Today was a crazy day, and I couldn't wait to get home. How was yours; hopefully not as whacky as mine. Anyhow, something hit me today, that I wanted to share and that is, self-confidence. Often times, we struggle with who we are. We look unto others to give us an identity, but really, we already have our own identity, we just have to work at figuring out how to present who we are to others. Trying do what others do to get attention, may not always be a good thing. Trust me, some people, you really don't want to be like them. Often times, what we see, is really not how it appears. Sometimes most of the things that people try to portray, is a cover-up of what is really happening. So, in the end, work on you; be the best you, you can be. Build your confidence by doing things that show integrity, and compassion. Be authentic in your character, because in the end, all that you thought was glittering in others, if you get real close, you will see that it was fake, all along. Have your own self-confidence, and strut your stuff, because in your heart, you will know that you are not a prototype, but you are the real deal, whether others accept it or not. Just know, that you know. Peace & Love sisters....
