"Welcome Beautiful Ones"

DGWOS is not a page where we bash, hate, use foul language, or tear down one's character through jealousy and envy. It is a page designed to inspire, to celebrate, to encourage and to promote self-love. This page wants to catapult you into a stronger and better you mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. Throughout the month, seasoned "Women of Substance" will share their experiences and thoughts to remind you that you are the diamond that God has intended for you to be. Please note: we are not psychiatrists or psychologists, nor do we profess to be perfect; but what we are, are women, mothers and grandmothers, who have been through the trials and errors of life and now want to help guide you through the same, if you choose to accept our views as you travel on this same wonderful journey called life. As a follower we only have two requests: 1) you share this blog with others and 2) strive every day to be the best you, you can be.
Ladies, let this blog be the reflection of what true, exquisite diamonds look like.

Peace and Love....

"A Spark of Motivation"

Happy "Motivational" Monday - Each week ladies, we meet back here at this day; sometimes we want to see it come, and some days, we want to delay it a couple of more days - agree. I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend, as it was so gorgeous out. Today, I was feeling a bit tired from all that I had done over the weekend - which as you can see from previous posts, was fabulous. But if I must be honest, the thing that I enjoyed the most, was spending quality time with my grand-daughter; she is truly my motivation and inspiration. Motivation can be sparked by so many different things, and my grand-daughter is the spark that ignites me. She motivates me to want to do better by my health, because I know in doing so, it gives me the longevity I need to run with with her, to read books with her, to take trips with her, and to just enjoy her company. I want to be around to see her have her first competition, her first recital, or anything that she might perform in. And if God is gracious enough to me, prayerfully, I will be around to see her have her own babies one day. But I say all of that, to ask you this: what and who motivates you? Whatever and whoever it is, think about it, or them when you feel like you have none. Maybe picture their face, or see that vision, and grab a hold to it. I bet you when you do so, that some energy will come, a smile will come across your face, and you will begin to move with a purpose. Have a great day today sisters. Peace & Love...
