Throughout the month, seasoned "Women of Substance" will share their experiences and thoughts to remind you that you are the diamond that God has intended for you to be. Please note: we are not psychiatrists or psychologists, nor do we profess to be perfect; but what we are, are women, mothers and grandmothers, who have been through the trials and errors of life and now want to help guide you through the same, if you choose to accept our views as you travel on this same wonderful journey called life. As a follower we only have two requests: 1) you share this blog with others and 2) strive every day to be the best you, you can be.
Ladies, let this blog be the reflection of what true, exquisite diamonds look like.

"Don't Limit Yourself"
Happy Wednesday - Sisters, it's hump day...we are almost there; can you see that weekend, can you feel it. I'm ready for it, how about you? I was thinking today about something a friend of mine said a week or so ago, if not sooner, that I found to be so true, and that it is: the people that you expect to be there for you, are usually not the ones. But rather, it's the strangers, the one's you least expect, who end up coming to your rescue. And as I thought about that, because I am truly experiencing it too, the Lord dropped this in my spirit. Blessings can come from anybody, and yes, I'm going to say it; even your enemies. The reason why we become so hurt when the people who we think it should come from doesn't come through, is because, we have only limited our circle to just those people. But what happens when they can come through, do we stop what we are doing because they are not there, or do we expand our horizons to new things and people who may have the keys to open our doors. So don't limit your vision or mind; open it up and receive the blessings from which ever way the Lord wants to give them to you, and yes, even if it's from your enemy. If your enemy blesses, it's only because God has moved on their heart. Ask me how I know. As always sisters, you know, I got nothing but love for you. I pray you have a restful night tonight, and that you wake up tomorrow with a goal and a purpose, and remember don't limit yourself to just your circle...enlarge your territory. Peace & Love...
