DGWOS is a blog that mirrors the scripture: "Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend (Proverbs 27:17). It is designed to create substance in one's character, as well as confidence. This page after you have viewed it will leave you understanding your value (a diamond) and your diamond's qualities (exquisite). Discover the Diamond in you ladies. Welcome.....
"Welcome Beautiful Ones"
DGWOS is not a page where we bash, hate, use foul language, or tear down one's character through jealousy and envy. It is a page designed to inspire, to celebrate, to encourage and to promote self-love. This page wants to catapult you into a stronger and better you mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. Throughout the month, seasoned "Women of Substance" will share their experiences and thoughts to remind you that you are the diamond that God has intended for you to be. Please note: we are not psychiatrists or psychologists, nor do we profess to be perfect; but what we are, are women, mothers and grandmothers, who have been through the trials and errors of life and now want to help guide you through the same, if you choose to accept our views as you travel on this same wonderful journey called life. As a follower we only have two requests: 1) you share this blog with others and 2) strive every day to be the best you, you can be.
Ladies, let this blog be the reflection of what true, exquisite diamonds look like.
Peace and Love....

"Lighten Up & Laugh"
Happy Wednesday - We are two days away, from the weekend. Are you getting those weekend plans ready? I know I am. I pray everyone had a great day today. Mine, felt like I should have been on the show, "Bloopers", that's how crazy it got. Have you ever had those kind of days? Oh don't make me feel like I'm the only one (LOL). Anyway, but you know what I did, when something simple happened today, I laughed at myself. I told myself, "self, you are too funny". I did that, because that's what you have to do every now and then; laugh at yourself. Too often, we get stressed and frustrated with ourselves, when things don't go our way; which in turn, causes us to become moody and cranky with people who have nothing to do with our own personal madness. So, if you had a crazy day, to the point you felt like screaming, stop, and take that time to laugh at your quirkiness. I guarantee, you will feel so much better. With that being said, I'm going to leave you with these words, "peace, love & hair grease." Sound corny, oh well...lighten up, and laugh; it's good for the soul. Peace & Love...
