"Welcome Beautiful Ones"

DGWOS is not a page where we bash, hate, use foul language, or tear down one's character through jealousy and envy. It is a page designed to inspire, to celebrate, to encourage and to promote self-love. This page wants to catapult you into a stronger and better you mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. Throughout the month, seasoned "Women of Substance" will share their experiences and thoughts to remind you that you are the diamond that God has intended for you to be. Please note: we are not psychiatrists or psychologists, nor do we profess to be perfect; but what we are, are women, mothers and grandmothers, who have been through the trials and errors of life and now want to help guide you through the same, if you choose to accept our views as you travel on this same wonderful journey called life. As a follower we only have two requests: 1) you share this blog with others and 2) strive every day to be the best you, you can be.
Ladies, let this blog be the reflection of what true, exquisite diamonds look like.

Peace and Love....

" Just Be Kind"

Happy Thursday - Sisters, we are one day away from the weekend. I was so busy writing on Part II of Reflections66, that I forgot to write you tonight. Today, I spoke with two extraordinary, confident women, who gave me sound advice. Even though this was apart of their job description, I felt, as we talked, that we made a great connection of sisterhood. Growing up, my mother always taught me to treat people kind; sometimes they would accept my kindness, and sometimes they would reject it, but nonetheless, I remained kind. I've learned in being kind, that God will open doors for you that is unconceivable in your mind. Not only will He open the doors, but He will place people on the other side of that door, that will have the same spirit as you, instantly causing a lasting bond. These sisters that I spoke to today, I could tell, were sisters who had been on the same path of life as I had at some point in their lives, which in turn, helped them to see the vision/mission and purpose that I am in the process of getting underway. As we laughed on similar topics, I realized, that this was not just about a call to ask for help, but this was divine purpose, and it all came about, because of an act of kindness on my part and on their's. That's the word for tonight, kindness. Just be kind, and see where it gets you. Again, some will accept it, and some will reject, but in the end, you still remain kind, because in doing so, you will never know what road that act or gesture will lead you down. I leave you with this scripture: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. (Ephesians 4:32) Peace & Love sisters...
