"Welcome Beautiful Ones"

DGWOS is not a page where we bash, hate, use foul language, or tear down one's character through jealousy and envy. It is a page designed to inspire, to celebrate, to encourage and to promote self-love. This page wants to catapult you into a stronger and better you mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. Throughout the month, seasoned "Women of Substance" will share their experiences and thoughts to remind you that you are the diamond that God has intended for you to be. Please note: we are not psychiatrists or psychologists, nor do we profess to be perfect; but what we are, are women, mothers and grandmothers, who have been through the trials and errors of life and now want to help guide you through the same, if you choose to accept our views as you travel on this same wonderful journey called life. As a follower we only have two requests: 1) you share this blog with others and 2) strive every day to be the best you, you can be.
Ladies, let this blog be the reflection of what true, exquisite diamonds look like.

Peace and Love....

"Leap Over Fear Into Faith"

Happy Wednesday – Today is looking so bright; the rain is dissipating, and the sunshine is slowly coming out from behind the clouds with the statement of, it’s going to be a glorious day. Yesss…So, as we continue on with the reflection of Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection, this word comes to me today – fear. Very early (and I mean early 4-something) this morning, I got up and this is what the Lord dropped in my spirit, as I shared it on Facebook: “I asked the Lord to remove all fear from every woman who has been impregnated with purpose, passion and a dream so that they might be able to birth that baby to inspire, encourage, and to cause change in lives of those that they have been assigned to touch.” Now here’s the issue with that, it’s not that He can’t remove it; it’s if we allow Him. Fear has paralyzed so many of us in different areas of our lives, in particular, when it comes to doing things that we have a desire to do. But this is what I want you to know today; when He died, He removed fear from all, and replaced it with faith (fear is strictly from the enemy). However, our struggle is that, our faith has to be built up enough to take that leap, and I know for some, leaping doesn’t always look safe, especially if we can’t see where it is we’re going to land. But when you trust Him, and take that leap, trust me, He will be right there. So don’t be fearful sisters to bring forth those dreams, passions, or purposes in your life; He wants you to release them. In closing, let me, let you in on a little secret that I have discovered about God; when you decide to really let go of fear, and take that leap to do whatever it is your heart desires, He will have the right people there to help you. Say it with me, even though it may not fully register yet, “I can do all things through Christ which strengthened me” (Phil 4:13) because, “For God have not given us [me] the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind” (2 Tim 1:7). Therefore, shake that fear, and begin to start making a difference in someone’s life…first stop though; your own. Peace & Love Sisters….
