"Enjoy the View"

Good Monday Morning - The flowers are blooming, the sun is shining, and the weather is warming up - don't you just love it; it makes me want to pull back the curtains, open up the blinds and windows, and enjoy the view of what today will bring. Well, we're back to another beginning of the work week. For those who worked over the weekend, enjoy this beautiful day, as you relax. For those who are stay at home moms, have fun with your child(ren) today by going to the park or the library. For those who have a green thumb, enjoy the pleasure of getting out there today and planting some beautiful flowers, or starting a garden, or whatever it is that you like to do around the house. As I was getting prepared this morning, I couldn't help but to think, if I was home (Philly) around this time of year, throughout the city, but especially around the parkway, I would be walking around admiring all of the gorgeous flowers that have been placed by the city workers, up and down the blocks. On Saturday mornings, I would drive past Boat House Row and watch the people take their daily walk or jog; some by themselves, and some with friends, and then during the week sometime for lunch, I would run downtown, and stroll down the streets to window shop, as I enjoyed the scenery of Center City merchants, displaying all of their merchandise for the spring and summer. But, I'm not there, I'm here, on the Eastern Shore, and I'm going to take time to admire what takes place here. And that is my sentiments to you today, take the time to admire the beauty of the transformation your city or town goes through when seasons change. Grab that cup of coffee or tea, or whatever it is you like in the morning, find a window, and watch. I bet you will see things you never noticed before. Enjoy your day today. Peace & Love...
