"Welcome Beautiful Ones"
DGWOS is not a page where we bash, hate, use foul language, or tear down one's character through jealousy and envy. It is a page designed to inspire, to celebrate, to encourage and to promote self-love. This page wants to catapult you into a stronger and better you mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. Throughout the month, seasoned "Women of Substance" will share their experiences and thoughts to remind you that you are the diamond that God has intended for you to be. Please note: we are not psychiatrists or psychologists, nor do we profess to be perfect; but what we are, are women, mothers and grandmothers, who have been through the trials and errors of life and now want to help guide you through the same, if you choose to accept our views as you travel on this same wonderful journey called life. As a follower we only have two requests: 1) you share this blog with others and 2) strive every day to be the best you, you can be.
Ladies, let this blog be the reflection of what true, exquisite diamonds look like.

"Layers"
Happy "Self-Love" Tuesday - Beautiful ones, how are you today. All day I have been trying get to this page to share this with you - layers. When we talk about of layers most refer them to an onion, because it has so many. Some of the layers can be thick, and some of them, can be soft and delicate. So it got me to thinking about us, and how we have so many layers as well; and like the onion, some of our layers are thick, from where we have allowed so much to pile up on us, and some, are delicate, where as, it shows our sensibility and vulnerability. So as I pictured this onion in my mind, I started asking myself, and I pose the same question to you, what do our layers say out us, and what layers, do we need to take off or protect. The layer of hurt, pain, and bitterness, they, I imagine, are layers that should be removed immediately from our lives, as they will destroy the good part of us. The delicate layer of us, is the layer that needs to be protected, because it holds our feelings, emotions, and heart. So as I close, my thought to you tonight is, evaluate your layers; see which ones need to be removed expediently, and see which ones that need to be paid attention to, a little bit more. Have a great night sisters. Peace & Love....
