"Welcome Beautiful Ones"

DGWOS is not a page where we bash, hate, use foul language, or tear down one's character through jealousy and envy. It is a page designed to inspire, to celebrate, to encourage and to promote self-love. This page wants to catapult you into a stronger and better you mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. Throughout the month, seasoned "Women of Substance" will share their experiences and thoughts to remind you that you are the diamond that God has intended for you to be. Please note: we are not psychiatrists or psychologists, nor do we profess to be perfect; but what we are, are women, mothers and grandmothers, who have been through the trials and errors of life and now want to help guide you through the same, if you choose to accept our views as you travel on this same wonderful journey called life. As a follower we only have two requests: 1) you share this blog with others and 2) strive every day to be the best you, you can be.
Ladies, let this blog be the reflection of what true, exquisite diamonds look like.

Peace and Love....

"Get Out Of That Bed"

Happy "Motivational" Monday - I'm so sorry ladies, but I was so out of it today; I stayed up last night watching the interview of Minister Louis Farrakhan with Cathy Hughes, and I must say, it was a very interesting interview. Anywho, I pray you all had a great Mother's Day on yesterday. Did your love ones make you feel special? And even if they didn't, just know that you are special anyway, and no day can take that away from you. I didn't have too much to say today about motivation, except, get out of that bed. I know your weekend was probably busy, and you wanted to lay, just a few minutes more, but knew that you had to get a move on. Well sister, join the club; I'm sure it was a plenty others, who felt the same way, including me. As always, to my weekend sisters who have to hold it down, whether it was Mother's Day or not, I pray you had a restful day today and, that you at least had a chance to celebrate Mother's Day for a few minutes. In closing, I'm gong to say this, "tonight, I'm going to act like I have some sense and go straight to bed." But before I do that, I had to say hello. Peace & Love...
