"I'm Excited"

Happy Wednesday – I pray everyone is having a great day today; the weather here is chilly and rainy. Can somebody please find Spring for me? Today as I prepared for work, I felt excitement rising up in me; I don’t know why, but it just was. I was thinking, I could be feeling this way, because, I just made it past another hurdle, which was trying to prevent me from moving forward towards the vision I see ahead of me. In life, we have so many hurdles, and we will continue to have them, until our time here on earth is done. But it’s how we handle them that get us to the finish line of our destiny. Here lately, I’ve been relishing in the fact that I’m 44 – where are all my 40 and over, sisters at? Anyway, as I’ve been going down memory lane of my adolescent and presently, my adulthood years, I can’t help but to think about all the things that I have gone through; some were good, some were bad, and some, I thought, I was never going to see the light at the end of the tunnel; but guess what, I did, and I’m sure you did too. So that’s why I’m excited; because yet again, I have made it over, another hurdle. And if you have just done the same thing too, then you need to join me, so that we can celebrate together. See, it’s the little things, which may bring a smile to our face, put some pep in our step, or, bring some excitement to our spirit. Now will you feel like this every day? No, but if you are feeling like this today…then do your happy dance, because rest assure, another hurdle is surely waiting for us. Peace and Love….
