"An Exquisite Movement"

Happy Thursday Beautiful Ones – We are one day away from the weekend. Yesss!!! I hope your week has been progressive thus far with all of your endeavors. It has been rainy on our end, but nonetheless, it still has been a good week.

Today, I wanted to share something that dropped in my spirit on yesterday - I was home under the weather; and that is the word, movement. Yesterday in the solitude of my home, the word movement kept coming up over and over again, concerning Exquisite Diamonds. Movement I kept saying, and again I heard it as plain as day – Movement. So when I looked it up, there were two definitions that echoed with what was stirring on the inside of me: a collective effort by a large group of people to try to achieve something, and a group of people organized, to effect change. The latter part, caused me to say, “Whoomp, there it is!!!”

Just a brief history to help you understand why that word meant so much to me on yesterday. For years, Women’s Ministry has always been my passion. I have always wanted to make a difference in anyone’s life that I came in contact with, but in particular, women. That was the whole purpose of me starting this blog, and eventually my business, Exquisite Diamonds. So as that word kept floating around in my head, this is what hit me: My purpose in this business is far beyond selling T-shirts (although I love what they represent), but my purpose in this business, is to start a movement among women all over the world when it comes to knowing who they are, what they possess, and what they are worth. When that message gets out, then the movement has been started. My question is, “who is willing to join me, in getting this movement started?”

Sistahs, whatever the Lord has placed in your spirit to do, start your movement – it’s time now. We as women have something to offer. Will it be easy? Heck no. Anytime anyone tries to bring about change to anyone’s mind set for the better, there will be opposition and resistance. Therefore, let no one tell you what you can and cannot do, and do not except no for an answer. And if you grow weary in the struggle, just think about the great words of our President, Barack Obama: “Yes We Can”.

With that being said, I have added to this page, a corner called “An Exquisite Movement”. This section is for you to share the movement that you have started doing in your community, and abroad.
