"Welcome Beautiful Ones"

DGWOS is not a page where we bash, hate, use foul language, or tear down one's character through jealousy and envy. It is a page designed to inspire, to celebrate, to encourage and to promote self-love. This page wants to catapult you into a stronger and better you mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. Throughout the month, seasoned "Women of Substance" will share their experiences and thoughts to remind you that you are the diamond that God has intended for you to be. Please note: we are not psychiatrists or psychologists, nor do we profess to be perfect; but what we are, are women, mothers and grandmothers, who have been through the trials and errors of life and now want to help guide you through the same, if you choose to accept our views as you travel on this same wonderful journey called life. As a follower we only have two requests: 1) you share this blog with others and 2) strive every day to be the best you, you can be.
Ladies, let this blog be the reflection of what true, exquisite diamonds look like.

Peace and Love....

"Life Adjustments"

Happy "Saint Patrick's Day" Wednesday - Have you ever had a day, where you had to make some quick adjustments, whether you wanted to or not? That's what hit me today, as I rode down the highway. Sometimes in life, situations that you have no control of, will arise, and pull you out of your comfort zone; and for most of us, we hate that. But not all the time, getting pulled out of that zone, is a bad thing; sometimes it's a blessing in disguise. For example, when I moved to the Eastern Shore from Philly, that was a major adjustment. I had to get used to driving everywhere, I had to get used to the economics of the area (i.e. taxes on things, that I wasn't used to having taxed) and I had to get used to the way things were done down here. Now at first, I wasn't a happy camper, because I was use to, what I was use to, but slowly, I began to see the benefits (cheaper cost of living and public school instead of private school) and made the necessary adjustments. Now I could elaborate on this more, but I'm in the midst of an adjustment right now, by typing this post from my phone, due to the fact that my computer is out of commision today; and trust me, this is so uncomfortable for me. I hope I did not make too many typos (LOL!!) See what I mean.....adjustments. Have a great evening...Peace and Love..
