DGWOS is a blog that mirrors the scripture: "Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend (Proverbs 27:17). It is designed to create substance in one's character, as well as confidence. This page after you have viewed it will leave you understanding your value (a diamond) and your diamond's qualities (exquisite). Discover the Diamond in you ladies. Welcome.....
"Welcome Beautiful Ones"
DGWOS is not a page where we bash, hate, use foul language, or tear down one's character through jealousy and envy. It is a page designed to inspire, to celebrate, to encourage and to promote self-love. This page wants to catapult you into a stronger and better you mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. Throughout the month, seasoned "Women of Substance" will share their experiences and thoughts to remind you that you are the diamond that God has intended for you to be. Please note: we are not psychiatrists or psychologists, nor do we profess to be perfect; but what we are, are women, mothers and grandmothers, who have been through the trials and errors of life and now want to help guide you through the same, if you choose to accept our views as you travel on this same wonderful journey called life. As a follower we only have two requests: 1) you share this blog with others and 2) strive every day to be the best you, you can be.
Ladies, let this blog be the reflection of what true, exquisite diamonds look like.
Peace and Love....

"Tadaah"
It's Monday Morning - Well, here we go, back to work. Monday's for most of us rolls around too quick, especially if we have had a busy weekend. As soon as the alarm goes off, we begin to groan, because the reality, is that we have to get out of our warm bed and start our Monday morning routine, whether it's getting ready for class, or for some of us, it means getting the children together, packing lunches, doing hair, or writing or signing those papers that the children give or tell us about at the last minute, as we're about to walk out the door, or trying to get them off to the school bus, on time. Then after all of that has been done, we now try to catch a few minutes to prepare ourselves for the day that lies ahead of us, even though we started working long before we get to our place of employment. Okay, now your few minutes are up, and you're down to those last few seconds, as you're looking at yourself in the mirror once more at your outfit or uniform, and you're still feeling like, "I just need a little something extra today; what can that be." Girlfriend, I say, spray on your favorite perfume, or glide on your favorite lipstick or lip gloss, and walk out that door. And even though you may still feel the Monday Morning blues, don't show it, just bust into that place of employment or classroom, like Tadaah...I'm here!! When you do that, trust me, your day will get better. Happy Monday sisters!!!
