Happy Friday - Woohooo, we made it through to the end of the week.
One of my favorite sayings is, "Keep it Moving". I love that statement, because if you plan to survive mentally in this game called life, that is the attitude that you have to take on. My mother used to say to me, when difficult situations would hit me, "look child, you can't break down and cry all the time, because things don't go your way. In life baby, you gonna have to learn how to play the hand that is being dealt to you." I would look at her like she was crazy; couldn't she see my pain. And with a straight face, "so are you going to play it or not," she would come back at me. Let's just say, I became a good card player. Traveling on this road called Life, it throws you all kinds of curve balls; some knock you down, some lay you out for a couple of days, and some leave you traumatized. But when the day comes, when you can see the light at the end of the tunnel, from being knocked down, you get the strength to get up off your couch or out of your bed to pull the curtains back so that you can see the sun, and you gather your right mind, and talk like you got some good sense after being traumatized, here's what you do. You take all of that craziness, and put it into your designer purse, called Life's Experiences. Then, you brush yourself off, you fix your hair, you put on your new outfit, throw on your make-up and stilettos, grab that purse, and "KEEP IT MOVING SIS!!" Have a great weekend ladies...
