Throughout the month, seasoned "Women of Substance" will share their experiences and thoughts to remind you that you are the diamond that God has intended for you to be. Please note: we are not psychiatrists or psychologists, nor do we profess to be perfect; but what we are, are women, mothers and grandmothers, who have been through the trials and errors of life and now want to help guide you through the same, if you choose to accept our views as you travel on this same wonderful journey called life. As a follower we only have two requests: 1) you share this blog with others and 2) strive every day to be the best you, you can be.
Ladies, let this blog be the reflection of what true, exquisite diamonds look like.

"Do Your Victory Dance"
Happy Sunday - This morning, on my drive to church, I began thanking the Lord for all He has done for me during the week. When I step inside the House of Worship, I waste no time, lifting my hands, to give Him thanks. And I don't just thank Him for everything that's going right either, but when I lift my hands, I acknowledge, and surrender to the fact, that He is God, and besides Him, there is no other. Therefore, whatever troubles I face, I thank Him, whatever good that comes my way, I thank Him, and no matter what comes and goes, in my life, I still thank Him. And why is that, you may ask, because, I know that He has my life in His hands, and that He will never put no more on me or you, than we are not able to bear, although at times, the burdens and problems that we face, seem insurmountable. But what I wanted to share with you on today is this: In our Praise and Worship service this morning, the Elder of the church sung the song that most of us who have been in church, are familiar with, "I've Got a Feeling, That Everything is Going to Be Alright." As she ministered that song, and the Spirit began to move through the pews and us, I said to myself, "that's it; that's the word for today, and for the following week." Sisters, whatever you have faced this week or will face in the upcoming week, just know, that if you trust Him, Everything "is" Going to be Alright. So don't sit there in the corner and cry girlfriend while the praises are going on, get on up, tell the people sitting in the pew to excuse you, and begin to "do your victory dance." You are already victorious in your situation. Peace and Love.....
