"Welcome Beautiful Ones"

DGWOS is not a page where we bash, hate, use foul language, or tear down one's character through jealousy and envy. It is a page designed to inspire, to celebrate, to encourage and to promote self-love. This page wants to catapult you into a stronger and better you mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. Throughout the month, seasoned "Women of Substance" will share their experiences and thoughts to remind you that you are the diamond that God has intended for you to be. Please note: we are not psychiatrists or psychologists, nor do we profess to be perfect; but what we are, are women, mothers and grandmothers, who have been through the trials and errors of life and now want to help guide you through the same, if you choose to accept our views as you travel on this same wonderful journey called life. As a follower we only have two requests: 1) you share this blog with others and 2) strive every day to be the best you, you can be.
Ladies, let this blog be the reflection of what true, exquisite diamonds look like.

Peace and Love....

"He Loves Me"

Happy Resurrection Sunday - I don't have much to say today, as I know that people are still celebrating His ascension. However, I pray you all had a blessed day today at your places of worship. And even if you were not in a sanctuary, where ever you were, I pray you took some time out to acknowledge the sacrifice that He made for us, because it truly was a sacrifice. As this concludes our week of reflection and meditation on Christ's death, burial and resurrection, I pray that you all have received something out of it. I pray that you made it personal, and that you have, out of this time, drawn closer to Him. Please understand, that you should have your time of meditation and reflection every day, but just know, that this week, was the week the Lord admonished me to set this time aside for us all to remember Him. I pray you all had a chance to have read from Matthew 26 on, this week. Did you? Well if you didn't, at some point, read it. Once you see all that He went through, you will understand, just how much He loves us. In closing, as I celebrated my 44th birthday with my love ones today, and as I sit here typing this post, I hear the words to a song that we grew up singing in church, "I don't know why He loves me, I don't know why He cares, I don't know why He sacrificed His life, oh but I'm glad, so glad He Did." Who else has that testimony? Enjoy the rest of your evening. Peace & Love....
