Happy Friday – Sisters, it has been a while since we last conversed. How is everyone, and how was your summer? Mine was good, despite all that was happening. But in the midst of it all, a silver lining has appeared. Very soon, I will be adding another hat to my repertoire – the Entrepreneur hat. Just saying those words, gives me butterflies. This is an area in which I never could conceive in my mind, just like writing my first book, even though I loved writing, or just like being a licensed cosmetologist at the age of 40, even though I had been doing hair since I was a young girl. This new adventure was something that has been in my heart for as far back as I could remember. Empowering sisters has always been my passion – I didn’t just stumble on this gift (leader and mentor) that God has given me. He gave it to me before I was formed in the womb. But knew I would only be able to handle it at this point in my life. That’s amazing. Just typing this and sharing it with you guys, brings tears to my eyes. People spend millions of dollars searching and seeking for the answer that we all ask ourselves from time to time: who am I, and what is my purpose? Well, it may have taken me forty – something years to figure it out, but dear God, I figured it out. It is a breath of fresh air.
In closing, whatever you are suppose to do, when the time comes, you will do it. You don’t have to tear anyone down in order to do it, you don’t have to be jealous of one who may be doing the same thing, all you have to do, is when your time comes – just do it, and bless the ones, that you are suppose to bless.
