"Welcome Beautiful Ones"

DGWOS is not a page where we bash, hate, use foul language, or tear down one's character through jealousy and envy. It is a page designed to inspire, to celebrate, to encourage and to promote self-love. This page wants to catapult you into a stronger and better you mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. Throughout the month, seasoned "Women of Substance" will share their experiences and thoughts to remind you that you are the diamond that God has intended for you to be. Please note: we are not psychiatrists or psychologists, nor do we profess to be perfect; but what we are, are women, mothers and grandmothers, who have been through the trials and errors of life and now want to help guide you through the same, if you choose to accept our views as you travel on this same wonderful journey called life. As a follower we only have two requests: 1) you share this blog with others and 2) strive every day to be the best you, you can be.
Ladies, let this blog be the reflection of what true, exquisite diamonds look like.

Peace and Love....

Beautiful You Are

When you looked into the mirror this morning, did you see God's vision of beauty or did you notice the imperfections? When we take the time to apply our "outward" products to beautify our faces, do we take a second and meditate on God's natural beauty? We're all unique looking in some shape form or fashion. No need to envy another sister's beauty, for God made you beautiful just the way you are. Now I'll be the first to admit that, my eyes don't spark like they used to and mascara (EVERYDAY) is a must! Sometimes we can be so critical of ourselves that we forget that the way we were made was no accident on His part, He knew before we were formed in our mother's belly, exactly and how He was going to mold us. Bask in your beauty; when you bask in your inward beauty, it will shine through outwardly and no make-up can cover up that natural glow. You know how it is when you smile, your face light's up? That's with or without make-up; and we know frowning will only make us look ugly no matter how "pretty" we think we are. and no amount of make-up can cover an ugly spirit. The next time you look into the mirror, take a few minutes to admire and appreciate "your" eyes, nose, lips, cheekbones, chin, eyebrows, and skin color. Can you see the beauty already? Can you see Agape Love? Never let someone tell you that you're not pretty enough, or light enough, or your eyes aren't light enough. You're beautiful in God's eyes and can't nothing and nobody do a thing about it! Love you and the skin your in and the world will see the radiance of God's love.
Smile today from the inside out,
Keli D
