Happy Wednesday – Have you ever reflected on your life, and said to yourself, if I could do things over, what would I do differently. I know for me, I wouldn’t have had my first son at such an early age; not that I didn’t love him, but I was a young mother. I would have gone to college, I would have made better choices when it came to friendships/relationships, and everything that I had dreamt about doing when I was younger, I would have done. So what’s the point of this, you may ask. The point is, even though we didn’t do everything that we should have done according to peoples opinions, we should never live our lives with any regrets. Sometimes in life, the situations that we find ourselves in, in the end, groom us to be the people we are today. Those experiences, whether good or bad, help us to grow and to mature. Unfortunately for some, they never do grow, as they have let the choices that they have made, beat them. Living a regretful life, is like saying, everything you went through, (heartaches, disappointment, deception) was for nothing. It’s like you have accepted that there is no hope, and that you don’t see a silver lining in the midst of your adversity or failures. What, not hardly – everything that we have gone through, was for a reason. But if the truth be told, none of us have done everything right. And for the ones who did, as quiet as it’s kept (shhh…), have had some kind of flaw in their “perfect” plan too. The thing that we should realize is that although our lives may not be what they should be, they are not like how they used to be. Faith, time, maturity, and the grace of God have brought us to the place that we are now. And as long as we continue in hope, we can still make some things happen. Therefore, hold your head up high, and take joy in knowing, that all things really do work together for our good. No regrets. Peace & Love…
